Roger and Rover

Here's another image that I have been working on for a while now... I'm going to have all of my paintings on my website when I get done with enough of them. The big broblem is that I never feel like any of these are ever done... I need to make my self just finish them.

So here's the bat dude with a new look. My wife, Karen, hated his large glowing eyes in the previous painting so I'm changing his look a bit and I aslo changed the leaves in the BKGD. I guess he is wearing a sweatband on his head so I added some sweat wrist bands too.

So here's the Munster painting... Still need to complete half of the fur on his body. I love the BKGD though. He's starting to look good, but still have a long way to go on this dude.

Need to post more often

I was just on a website called Danidraws.com, that I check from time to time to read up on ideas and ways that he works as an illustrator. I suggest anyone that wants to learn the illustration field check out his site. The thing I got from it today is that keeping a blog gives you the ability to look back a year from now and see your progress and how you have changed...now of course to do this you have to actually write in your blog weekly (which is something I have not been doing.) I guess what I'm saying is that I plan on publishing to this blog on more often than I have been.

Ninja Frog

This is a new character that will appear in a new book series that I am working on with a name yet to be determined...this guy is Ninja Frog. I don't know if I was inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or another project I'm working on where I have to draw some 300 hundred frog images....
All I see now are frogs.

More monster illustration

Still not quite done with this illustration. Need more work on the hands and the feet and the ears. Just working on it here and there when I have time. Working on several new projects right now for different clients, and some new kids books.
