Geo's Comic

A friend of mine sent me his first comic book and I think it's great. I can't share the entire comic for copyright reasons, but I think this comic is a hit in the making.

Ice Boy is a young hero that can shoot freeze rays and instantly turn water vapor in the air into ice. In his first adventure he meets up with Fire Boy and Aqua Boy. They three of them help each other to fight crime. Ice Boy also learns not to judge something at face value. When Ice Boy tries to kill a very large sea serpent, Aqua Boy stops him before he makes a huge mistake. It turns out the Sea Serpent is a mommy that is protecting her egg and only has good intentions.

Geo has done a wonderful job with the script and illustrations of this story and I really can't wait to read the sequel to this epic adventure. It has all the makings of a great comic and I am thankful Geo was nice enough to send me his first issue.
You did a great job Geo and I am very proud of you. Keep up the good work!

So the colors were a bit off

So in my rush to get my painting of the week posted yesterday I really screwed up the color. Luckily my fine friends in the illustration board noticed and let me know that something was off. I think the changes to the BKGD made a for a much stronger piece.

This is the second sketch for my sketch a day...I didn't spend a great deal of time coloring this piece, a little under an hour. Used a bunch of my collected textures to bring this one to life. It's a good idea to have a dedicated folder to hold all of your textures and photo refrences.
