I drew both of these on my ipad using sketchbook pro and a stylus pen that has this foamy tip. Using the stylus pen is like painting with a straw and a sponge. It's not all that easy but it's better than using my finger. The ipad is not the answer to a sketchbook or a wacom cintiq, but it is early and I imagine that in the near future the pressure on these tablets will only get better and better.
