Fishman

While I was a the Jersey shore just sketching away in my sketchbook the weirdest thing walked by me. I thought it was a frog, but it was walking not hopping. It walked right out of the ocean and past my beach chair got a water ice and walked back into the ocean. I wished I had my camera with me, but I think I captured the look of it the best I could.

Should have been working on other things, but this illustration kept calling out to me. Maybe it was the hypnotic eyeball.

Art Tip Tuesday ! Setting up your Wacom

This is an easy and short tip this Tuesday. For those of you using a wacom tablet make sure to set your tablet up to make it easy on you.

1. Set button on the stylus pen to the (alt) key. This way you can pick colors easily off of your canvass as you work.

2. Set one of your buttons on the wacom to the following keys (control) (alt) and (z) in photoshop this will give you a number of undos every time you hit the button.

3. Set another button to the (spacebar) key. This way you can move the image around with the hand tool easily as you work.

Till next Tuesday!

Art Tip Tuesday

So when I work in Photoshop this is how I like to set up my screen. I have several windows open of the same image but at different zooms. What ever I do in one window will appear in all the other windows. Instead of zooming in and out all of the time. It's also important to work over the entire picture and not in just one little area. Keep moving around the image working over the entire piece. Always remember work general to specific.
