Walt Disney

This is my personal tribute to Walt Disney. When I was a kid I admired Walt Disney more than anyone. I had a big Mickey Mouse poster on my wall and I thought how great it would be to get a chance to meet Mr. Disney. Surprisingly it was harder painting Mickey than it was painting Mr. Disney.

John Kasich in color

I had a rough drawing of this done a few months ago and decided that it was time to finally color and finish it. The rough version actually appeared on John Kasich's blog a few months ago as well.

Coach Woody Hayes finished

I made some major changes to the Woody image from below. The photo reference I had was an older picture of Woody. My dad said I needed to give a thick neck to make him more "Woody" like.

Go Bucks! Beat Michigan.
Just a quick Woody Hayes painting I started this week. Not done with it yet, but wanted to post it before the game tomorrow at noon.

Art Tip Tuesday ! Setting up your Wacom

This is an easy and short tip this Tuesday. For those of you using a wacom tablet make sure to set your tablet up to make it easy on you.

1. Set button on the stylus pen to the (alt) key. This way you can pick colors easily off of your canvass as you work.

2. Set one of your buttons on the wacom to the following keys (control) (alt) and (z) in photoshop this will give you a number of undos every time you hit the button.

3. Set another button to the (spacebar) key. This way you can move the image around with the hand tool easily as you work.

Till next Tuesday!

Coach Jim Tressel

Just a caricature of Ohio State's head football coach Jim Tressel. The Bucks have a big game this weekend against Iowa for the Big Ten title. I will be there in the stands with my peanut M&M's. Every game I go to I have to have Peanut M&M's in the third quarter. It's not a good luck thing, I just like peanut M&M's.

Go Bucks!

Final Doggie art

Here's the finished piece for the Doggie illustration for my portfolio. I'm pretty happy with it. I really like the dogs expression.
