So in my rush to get my painting of the week posted yesterday I really screwed up the color. Luckily my fine friends in the illustration board noticed and let me know that something was off. I think the changes to the BKGD made a for a much stronger piece.

I agree with the colour change. And that wee tiny touch of green reflecting on his lower lip sells it for me. =)
The green on the lip was there before, but now with the green bkgd the green shows itself more.
