This was a character I drew at the Civil War reenactment two weeks ago. I wanted to draw the soldiers in uniform but they were too far away to see very well and this guy was pacing up and down the battlefield taking pictures. He was just easier to see to draw.
The Sketchbook I use is very small and easy to carry around with,also doesn't attract too much attention. It's amazing how many people will look over your shoulder while you sketch. Sometimes I'm funny about that and other times it doesn't bother me. I guess it depends on if the drawing is good or not.
