Welcome to my blog. Most of the illustrations on this site are the stuff I do for fun on my own time and not for clients. To see my professional work please go to www.studioharpster.com
Steve, I'm a little embarrassed to admit this: I'm an art teacher and I have to ask this question. Did you do this with a tablet? Or is this just traditional mouse stuff in Illustrator? I've grown up as sort of a purist, drawing and painting in the traditional way. I get frustrated by computers, but I wish so badly that I was more proficient at CG design.
Not a problem. I had to learn all this stuff too. I have a cintiq tablet, which is a monitor that you can draw on. You can also achieve the same effect with a traditional wacom tablet. I'm not sure if you can use a mouse to get the same brushes since it relies on pressure. Hope that helped.
