My studio

Here it is, my studio. It's not super fancy and I don't have a lot of action figures or toys. I have some of my ideas posted on the walls and some of my kids artwork. It's a mess right now and I was just getting ready to clean it up, but I thought you might want to see the dirty version...maybe I will do a before and after.

This is not messy... I so want a cintiq or at least I think I do, I'm so used to drawing off to the side it might throw me off, lol ;)

Like any tool it takes a while to learn how to use it. The hardest thing for me was it's upright position (which is adjustable.) I also didn't have a desk that could support the weight of it...MY drafting desk would tip over when I used the cintiq on it. So I had to invest in a new desk too.

Maybe one day I will make the leap, for now me and my intuos are fairly well matched ;) I didn't think of the weight of it, or the position, I guess it's kind of like a computer pen tablet, but more accurate I would hope. I tried a draw on the screen type of pen tablet computer for a while and it just wasn't accurate, the pen tip was always effecting an area off to the side, it drove me nuts. I really like your set up, it looks neat and organized to me.

My computer desk is nothing more than a kitchen counter top supported by two cabinets on either side. All bought from Lowes for maybe a hundred bucks. It really works great and lots of desk space.
